March 17-18: Reaching the Mediterranean Sea

We have now arrived to the Mediterranean Sea, I can promise that it is very nice to hear the sounds of the waves hitting the scenery cliffs of Dubrovnik in Croatia. Yesterday we spend the day at Diamond Aircraft in Wiener-Neustadt to do some final checks on the aircrafts before leaving for the rest of the world. Thanks to all the helpful people at Diamond that were able to squeeze in time for our aircraft!
We then took off for Graz for a short refueling stop. After Graz we cruised at flightlevel 120 (12000 feet) inbound Dubrovnik. We got clearance for the Zagreb 1G arrivalroute for an ILS approach to runway 12. It was all dark and the weather was heavy rain and plus 5 degrees, very nice! =)

Today we have spend the day walking around in the old town of Dubrovnik, a very interesting place with a lot of history. We also saw the sun for the first time (when on the ground) a very nice feeling!
