March 23rd: Fix "World Flyer" in Austria

As "World Flyer" was placed in the maintenence hangar this morning in order to be repaired, me and Henrik have had a long list of things to do today. We have completed much administration today in the project (yes, there is plenty of this) and also completed the tool box kit in the aircraft with some more tools that we found out that we need.

Diamond found out that the probe in the left wing (sending fuel indication signals) was broken. We were unlucky it was us getting the only aircraft having this problem (hasnīt been experienced before). Diamond staff have been working hard to get the aircraft fixed and tonight the wing is standing on a leak test before being placed back on the fuselage again.

Right now we are planning our stops in India. There are many things to think of when choosing an airport to land in. It must be in the right location (prio 1), it should have Shell jet fuel available (prio 2), it should have low handling and airport fees (prio 3). It is not rocket science to find the right airport, but almost...

Today we also got the opportunity to go to a gym - good for us who need to loose some extra kilos (to be able to bring as much fuel as possible)!

Tomorrow we are heading for Cyprus. We will do some activities there that we have planned with the distributor of GN ReSound. The schedule has been altered slightly as we run into problems with the aircraft, but it doesnīt seem to affect us more than 3 days. Israel will be on Sunday!
