March 2nd and 3rd: Pickup of "World Flyer" in Austria!

World Flight for Hearing project wrote history today when the aircraft SE-LVO (to be named "World Flyer") was picked up today in Wiener Neustedt (Austria)! I (Johan) flew down from Sweden on the 2nd and arrived to the factory in the evening. Next day (3rd) was spent at the factory where all documents were signed off and also some last training was performed. As an example I got very detailed instructions about how to install the ferry tank (the tank that we will fit in the aircraft in Japan and use on the flight over to Alaska). My father came down to Austria in order to help me with the ferry flight (most of all he wanted to join on the first flight with the aircraft:). Everything went very well! The aircraft really looks nice and everything is as we expected it to be. But there are a few more things to be installed/inserted before it can be considered as a "World Flyer". It is night in Denmark and the aircraft is parked at Odense airport now (as I am writing this). Tomorrow I will go to Middelfart to make a presentation about WFH at a yearly meeting for Audiologists in Denmark. After that I will continue the flight to Sweden!
