July 1st - Media coverage in LA and then down to Mexico!

Yesterday, June 30th, we had people from the press meeting us to write about World Flight for Hearing in LA newspapers. Today earyly morning we departed from a sunny Long Beach airport and headed southbound for Mexico! The flight to Culican in the upper middle part of Mexico was more than 800 nautical miles and we faced some headwind on our way down to here. There was also plenty of CB and thunderstorm activity over the mainland of Mexico, but our routing close to the coastline was almost free from rain and thunderstorm. There was some weather but we could quite simple avoid that thanks to our stormscope (instrument to detect thunderstorm).

Make sure you are extra vigilant while in Culiacan. A fast and reliable plane like yours might become too tempting to some of the busiest pilots in Sinaloa.

Too bad we could not get together while you were in Long Beach. Best of luck!

Jose
